Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania, covering 2,850 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which provides a vital water source during the dry season, attracting large concentrations of wildlife. Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds ? the largest in Tanzania ? and its iconic landscape dotted with ancient baobab trees. The park also hosts lions, leopards, cheetahs, and over 550 bird species.
