About Samburu National Reserve
Samburu National Reserve is a rugged and semi-arid park in northern Kenya, known for its unique wildlife including the Samburu Special Five: Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. The reserve's dramatic landscape of rocky outcrops, dry riverbeds, and acacia woodland provides stunning backdrops for wildlife viewing. Samburu is also home to large populations of elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
