Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park is one of Kenya's most popular parks, famous for its flamingos, rhinos, and stunning scenery. The park covers 188 square kilometers and includes the lake itself, which covers 63 square kilometers.

Lake Nakuru is most famous for its vast flocks of flamingos, which can number in the millions during peak season. The pink ribbon of flamingos along the lake shore is one of Kenya's most photographed scenes.

The park is one of Kenya's best places to see both black and white rhinos. A dedicated rhino sanctuary within the park has helped populations recover from the brink of extinction.
