About Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park is a small but diverse park covering 330 square kilometers, with 200 square kilometers being the lake itself. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, vast flocks of flamingos, and the stunning groundwater forests that line the escarpment. Despite its size, Lake Manyara hosts an incredible diversity of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, hippos, and over 400 bird species.
